About Us
Satkhira Medical College (SMC) is a government medical college in Bangladesh, established in 2011. Located in the southwestern city of Satkhira, in Khulna Division, the college offers a five-year medical education program leading to an MBBS degree. After graduation, all students must complete a one-year mandatory internship. The degree awarded is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
The college is equipped with a 500-bed Medical College Hospital, which includes emergency, ICU, and CCU facilities. The campus spans approximately 45 acres.
