Aichi Hospital Limited | Uttara

Aichi Hospital Ltd. is a Japan-Bangladesh joint venture hospital located in Uttara, Dhaka, and has been serving the community for the last 15 years. The hospital was established with the generous support of a dedicated group of Japanese friends under the Japan Bangladesh Cooperative Society (JBCS), which was formed in Nagoya in March 1995, led by Mr. Shizuo Yamada, the Rotary President of Nagoya.

Key figures from Japan, including Mrs. Etsuko Yamada, Mrs. Yoshiko Matsui, Mrs. Yoko Kobayashi, Mrs. Motoko Fujikawa, Mrs. Kazue Ieda, Mrs. Sakiko Kamata, Mrs. Chikako Kani, Mr. and Mrs. Yokoyama, Mr. and Mrs. Enya, and Mr. Kuroda, played an instrumental role in the formation and ongoing operations of JBCS, as well as the establishment of Aichi Hospital. We are deeply grateful to all of them. Currently, JBCS is led by Mrs. Etsuko Yamada and Mrs. Matsui.

JBCS has become a well-known and respected volunteer organization in both Japan and Bangladesh, providing essential support to Aichi Hospital. The hospital serves thousands of underserved individuals, offering free medical services and treatments. Additionally, more than 200 people have been employed at Aichi Hospital, with their families also benefiting from the services provided.
