Prof. Dr. Tapash Kumar Maitra is a highly experienced general and laparoscopic surgery specialist in Dhaka, holding MBBS and FCPS (Surgery) qualifications. He is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery at Birdem General Hospital & Ibrahim Medical College. Dr. Maitra provides expert surgical care for conditions like gallstones, appendicitis, hernia, piles, anal fissure, fistula, thyroid disorders, breast lumps, and various abdominal surgeries. He sees patients at BIRDEM Specialized Chamber Complex, Shahbag from 2pm to 4pm (closed on Friday).
